Bling it Up!

Precious Piecing Weekly Challenge, this week was to create something and Bling it up! I used #506 Pink Ribbon Bear and pink bling (I-rock tool) and glitter pink cardstock...and created a hang tag/keyring for a scrapbook bag...I used the pink ribbon bear because a friend and fellow scrapbooker was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, I plan on giving it to her in May at a Relay for Life crop.

"RED HOT" Challenge-from Precious Piecings

The challenge is create something using black and red...Here is what I came up with. I altered a wooden frame, and went with a "Twilight" theme, I chose pattern #759 Give me a Kiss, and darken it up alittle.

Altered Cork Bulletin Board

Here is another $2.50 find at Target

I altered using the SEI Keepsake line and I followed a youtube video tutorial for the flowers which can be seen here....
The swirls are from myscrapbookchick.com
I am designing some black and pink home decor for my new scrapbook room that is in the planning stages.

Precious Piecings Design Team Challenge

For this challenge, I picked up a small hot pink wooden box at Target for $2.50 and altered it using SEI Keepsakes Line (old one but I found it in my hoards of paper). The Precious Piecing I chose was #612 Scrapbook girl,She was pieced using various lines of paper. I thought she was perfect for my idea of creating a "Paper Piecing Funds" Box!!! Now hopefully I can add some cash to it, to support my new found addiction!
